Willy Wong
Software Developer
I’m based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I currently work at Cult Creative, building the platform that connects Southeast Asian brands with creators.
Previously, I was at NEXEA from 2024 to 2025, where I built HyperCoach, a personalized AI coach, and DEUCE League, a skill-matched sports league app.
I work across the stack in TypeScript, from React and React Native interfaces to the Node, PostgreSQL, and Prisma services behind them. What I care about most are the details that make an interface feel considered: the weight of a press, the way a transition settles, the empty state nobody remembered to design.
You can find me on GitHub and LinkedIn, or email me at willywongjm@gmail.com.
Outside of work, I build websites for businesses: a first site for those still relying on Instagram or a Maps listing, or a rebuild for those that have outgrown their old one. Take a look at my website packages.
